Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Name | Name of the data store |
Description | Brief description for the data store |
Automatically receive data | Selecting this check box will allow the data store to be automatically synchronized with the hub once the MDM model containing this data store is published. If not selected, this data store must be manually synchronized. Note: For a hub data store, this field is disabled. |
Download Database Scripts | When the model containing this data store is published, certain changes such as creation of audit tables and triggers are made to the actual database that this data store represents. Selecting this check box prevents those changes from occurring and saves the database scripts that affect those changes in a file. The person having the Database Administrator (DBA) role in the represented database can review the scripts and then execute them manually on the database. This is useful when you want to control each and every alteration made to the database. Refer to MDM Admin Settings for more information on downloading the database scripts. |
Publisher Service Group | Select a service group from the drop-down box of the appropriate publisher that can be used by the data store. This property is automatically saved on selection. Each data store must have its own unique publisher. For information on creating a publisher service group, refer to Create an MDM Publisher. Note:
